Cabin Filter(Air Conditioner Filter)

1) Function
The cabin filter to be used in automobile is called 'air conditioner filter' through which air is entering into the car if air conditioner or heater is turned on when driving a car. Sometimes, it is not being installed in a small car. Some people do not use it to save some cost of its operations. Life time of cabin filter is not settled, however, it is advised to replace in every 10,000 km interval to keep clean air inside the car. In case of a filter in which charcoal is used, it is recommended to replace in every 6 months regardless of its mileage.

2) Type
Generally, cabin filters are divided into two types. One is a 'particle type of filter' that is called static filter and the other one
is a 'combination filter' called antibacterial filter.

Particle type is shaped like a felt on which static electricity is applied, and it catches dust when fine dust pass it through. However, this type of filter has not effected due to poor efficacy of static electricity in the process of thermal treatment. So, currently, PP mesh is added or Nano-sliver type of filter is processing to remedy its shortcomings.
Combination type is to put granules of charcoal in the middle part and both sides are covered with particle type of felt. Charcoal removes electromagnetic wave, bad odor like ammonia gas and generates far-infrared radiation and negative ion to protect our body. Due to this advantage, a luxury car like Mercedes Benz is equipped with cabin filter in which charcoal is used. However, unless charcoal is not regularly replaced, it may be rather harmful to the human body because bacteria can propagate inside the charcoal.

3) Antifungal cabin filter - Our new product
Sometimes bad odor takes place as car air conditioner is turned on. It has been caused by the propagation of fungus inside the filter through which an inrush of moisture occurs, and this may bring about the atopy dermatitis to those who have sensitive skins.

Our new cabin filter, antifungal and antibacterial treatment of product, has an effect against bad odor and also inhibiting the growing of fungus, so it helps to prevent from respiratory disease.
